RAY M. HELTERLINE


Ray M. Helterline joined C&A in 1998. He has more than 25 years experience in M&A, corporate finance, commercial lending, financial analysis, and sales. Having spent years providing financial services to middle-market companies, he has an in-depth understanding of the concerns of business owners.

Prior to joining C&A, Ray was a Senior Vice President at US Bancorp in the Merchant Banking Group. In his years in corporate and international banking, he arranged a wide variety of financial solutions for middle-market, Fortune 1000 and international companies. Ray has more than two decades of business-to-business financial sales experience. In addition, he also managed the International Private Banking Department, handling the special financial needs of high net-worth individuals.

While working in the venture capital business, Ray evaluated prospective business plans, performed due diligence, and conducted business valuations. He has substantial experience working in East Asian, European, and Latin American markets. Earlier in his career, Ray worked as an economist at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., in the healthcare delivery industry for Kaiser Foundation, and in the forest products industry for Crown Zellerbach Corporation.

Ray received a B.A in Economics from Reed College and an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He also attended the London School of Economics and the Johns Hopkins Bologna Center in Italy. Ray has served as a board member of the Japan America Society, the Northwest Regional China Council and the World Affairs Council.
